Eagletech Bluetooth Mini Keyboard with Speakerphone ET-KB100B-BK Review

In today’s review, we’ll be showcasing a great little gadget from Eagletech Bluetooth products, the Eagletech Bluetooth Mini keyboard with speaker model ET-KB100B-BK. Eagletech, which was founded in 1993, is well known for their beautiful luxurious designs and long-lasting quality products. Recognized for its well-designed award-winning portable external hard drives, this outstanding company has expanded from PC peripherals and ventured into producing high-quality Bluetooth audio devices and lavish selection of stereo systems for your hearing pleasure. One of its new accessory products is this Bluetooth mini keyboard, which we’ll be looking more in detail.

Here is the product Specifications and key features:

Front of package is very straight forward. It lists the keyboard multiple usage as well as devices compatible with this Bluetooth keyboard.

Back of box lists a brief product overview, specifications, features and package contents.

As we open the package, inside we can see the mini keyboard, and a mini USB cable for charging the mini keyboard.

One of the strengths I like about this product is the portability. At 1.8 ounces, it is very light and the keyboard itself is smaller than most smartphones in the market today. Keyboard easily fits in one hand and you can also wrap both hands around comfortably to your desired grip. This keyboard is far from ordinary, as it has a mobile feel to it, as if you’re using a phone to write text messages. The keyboard is rectangular shape with rounded edges (hopefully no patent litigation here), and contains all necessary keys from a standard keyboard which allows productivity. Additionally, it does have extra function keys for iOS devices, which makes this product practically a universal Bluetooth device, easy to use, and easy to learn.

Furthermore, if we look behind the keyboard, we can see the audio and microphone features. Audio is labeled as “sound” and microphone is labeled as a phone icon. This makes device multi-use and not only can we type messages using this keyboard, but it also serves as hands-free communication purposes.

Cell Phone Use

For cell phone, device was actually very easy to setup. I tried it on a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and a IPhone 4s and in a few seconds, following instructions, I had access to the mini keyboard. Device is well responsive while typing text messages, very little to no lag. Also, tried making a cell phone call as well and use the built in mic and speaker. Sound was actually ok, a little distorted, and doesn’t cancel background noise very well, but clear enough to understand other person talking. And mic picks up sound very well, and can clearly hear the other person well on my cell phone.

For console games, Mini Keyboard was able to connect to the Sony PS3. Surfed Netflix, amazon prime, etc and also had very little to no lag while typing. It makes great use on a PS3 because I personally don’t like typing using the PS3 controller as it is very slow, and this mini keyboard just makes it more convenient and faster to browse on your console game.

With all that was said, the Eagletech Bluetooth mini keyboard with speaker is recommended by us. With its great design, it is a great option for productivity and portability. You can take this anywhere with you without it being a drag, and with its multi-purpose usage, it comes very handy. Its pricing is very affordable and won’t put a big hole in your wallet.
