Boxee TV has exclusively partnered with Wal-Mart, Bloomberg reports that Wal-Mart will start selling Boxee TV in more than 3,000 Wal-Mart locations just in time for holidays. Boxee TV offers Cable, Netflix, Vudu, Pandora, over-the-air television programming, and record unlimited content to the cloud allowing user to play back on their phone, tablet, computer or tv. Boxee No Limits DVR service will be only $14.99 a month. Boxee announced earlier this month that the No Limits DVR will be available only to Los Angeles, New York, Houston, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Washington, DC, and in more markets in 2013.
The Boxee TV attempts to appeal the average consumer. Wal- Mart said it will start advertising in stores and have demos to educate consumers on the benefits of Boxee TV.
