Ditch that plastic, Google Wallet knows how

Having all of your credit and debit cards linked on your smart phone sounds like an awesome way to unclutter your wallet, and keep all of your important information in one place. But what about all those pesky loyalty cards you have from stores and cafes? A few considerate places have apps, but how many times have you gone to buy a coffee and realized that you left your card at home, or completely forgotten to get that extra star for your frap?  If these are the worries that plague your every day, have no fear, Google is here!
For those of you that are already using Google Wallet, you’ll get to see the update soon. And for anyone who hasn’t taken the plunge yet, maybe this new feature will help make up your mind. Not only can you quickly link your credit and debit cards by snapping a picture of the card instead of inputting every little detail, you now have the bonus of doing the same with loyalty cards. Just a picture of the loyalty card and it’s all connected with your Wallet. And even better, your phone will then remind you to use it when you’re near or at a store you have a linked card for. Google should be releasing this update this week, so it may be worthwhile to check out the new features.
