Game Informer Magazine Launches Tablet App for iPad and Android

–Game Informer Magazine, the fourth largest consumer magazine in the U.S., has launched a new digital edition optimized for the Apple iPad and Android* tablets.

With Game Informer now available as a tablet app, readers can experience the best in gaming news and reviews with more screenshots, embedded video, online extras and functionality that allows them to purchase or pre-order titles on their tablet in an easy-to-navigate format.

The new tablet edition of Game Informer arrives in time to mark the release of the August issue, featuring multiple covers for Resident Evil 6, Injustice: Gods Among Us, Dead Space 3, God of War: Ascension, Splinter Cell Blacklist, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate.

Current Game Informer Digital subscribers can access the tablet edition by downloading the free Game Informer app from the Apple App Store or Google Play App Store and then signing in with their existing GameInformer.com account information.

Single issues of the new tablet edition of Game Informer can be purchased from the Apple App Store and Google Play App Store for $4.99 each. A 12-issue subscription also is available in the Apple App Store for $19.99.
