Google allows to make voice calls using contact nickname

if your contact list has contacts such as “mechanic” or even if you’re a cholo who has a homie listed in your contact list as “smiley”, Google now lets you call them by person’s nickname. With the new update to the Google app on Android, you can give those folks nicknames. The feature was already available for some, but now, it seems to be available for every Android user(just showed up for me). This means when you say “bff,” or use a different term of endearment, your phone will dial your contacts by nickname.And taking a closer look at the APK, the people at Android Police found out Mountain View is moving foward with the Trusted Voice feature that surfaced a few previous versions before. That Smart Lock feature seems to allow you to unlock a device with your voice. Also, something that was mentioned called Seamless Hotword, but as of now, not much detail has been said about such this. If you’re not able to use the latest version of the google update yet, it’s available for download over at Google Play.
