Mobile Fun Weekly Round-up : Handsets, Angry Birds Space, Galaxy Nexus Battery, Draco

Mobile Fun over in the UK is a big provider of mobile related accessories and they’ve just sent me over their latest update of new products and asked me to share it with you.  They’re got a lot of great stuff and excellent prices with inexpensive shipping.

Handset wise we’ve received the prices of four new handsets:

  • Sim Free Samsung Galaxy Beam  –  This is the mighty handset with a built-in projector! Pretty cool for streaming movies and making your own drive in – we’ll be selling this handset for £449.95.
  • Sim Free Panasonic Eluga – This is the hard wearing, yet super thin and light handset.  It’s water and dust proof with an IP rating of 57, so great for outdoors.  We’ll be selling this for £384.95.
  • Sim Free LG Optimus L5 – Stylish, slim, L-shaped from extra grip and using a floating display – it even has Ice Cream sandwich.. all for £184.95.
  • Sim Free LG Optimus L7 – Like the L5, this is an L-shaped, ice cream sandwich handset.  Again it uses the floating display for easy readability.  This handset is £239.95.

If you want more info on these handsets I blogged about them here 🙂

Next up, you may have heard earlier in the week but we’ve sourced a range of Angry Birds Space cases.. They’re not in stock yet but we’re hoping they’ll be available soon.  We’ve got 2 iPad 3 covers – one featuring the red bird and the other featuring a group shot… for iPhone 4/4S there’s three cases – one with the Red Bird, one with the Black Bomb Bird and the other with the Pig King.:

Each case is form fitting, with a hard snap on design – they’re bright and vibrant and we’re pretty sure we’re the first retailer to source them 🙂

Next up is the Genuine Samsung Galaxy Nexus Extended Battery Kit – this is one to get excited about… we reckon we’ll have it in stock on Tuesday but it’s the case all Nexus users have been waiting for, especially after the popularity of the S2 extended battery kit. It’s the 2000mAh battery kit with replacement cover, as the new battery is slightly larger than the stock one.  When the Kit does arrive in stock we’ll get Will on the case of writing up which cases are compatible with it.

Finally, after proving to be a sell-out success, we’ve sourced more of the Draco Design Bumpers – the high end aluminium bumpers for iPhone 4/4S and Samsung Galaxy S2.  They’re made from Aircraft grade Aluminium and are ergonomically designed to fit nicely in your hand too, so they add grip and comfort as well as protection.  These cases are pretty pricey with them costing over £50 but the quality you get in return is second to none… a couple of people in the office actually use the Draco cases and they love them.
