Turning tech into VAPR

While this new venture may not be as cool as robots, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has a new project in the making. The agency will be working with IBM to create Vanishing Programmable Resources (VAPR). These electronic systems would be transient, able to self-destruct and disappear when triggered. Triggered by an RF-signal, the CMOS sensor attached to the device would destroy the electronics. This tech may not seem exciting, but it would be extremely useful for the military. Instead of needing to recover every piece of tech used to collect data in an environment, this destructible tech would remove the danger and avoid compromising information or technology. Monitoring environments with this tech, along with health and treatment uses, could provide a great benefit to military while in the field.
