Voice Recognition jumps off the servers with Intel

It looks like Jarvis is leaving the Sci-Fi world and coming to your mobile tech. While there’s not a timeline for when this tech will be available, Intel has released information to Quartz that their new voice recognition headset will be available with offline support. This means no delay between making a voice request and feedback while the headset communicates with a server. Partnering with a third party, Intel is working to make the device fit into a handset, and be available whether or not a wireless connection is accessible. Hopefully this tech can bridge the gap between current, semi-inaccurate voice recognition systems, and Sci-Fi artificial intelligence.
