Microsoft’s new operating system is available for public consumption, starting tonight. Windows 8 is been release  globally in more than 140 markets and in over 37 languages and consumers can purchase either Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro at participating US retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy and Staples.
