Microsoft’s new operating system is available for public consumption, starting tonight. Windows 8 is been release globally in more than 140 markets and in over 37 languages and consumers can purchase either Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro at participating US retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy and Staples. Microsoft will also be offering its Windows 8 upgrade online, anyone that wants to upgrade their PC (will be able to upgrade from XP to version 7) for $40 if you’ve bought a Windows 7 machine since June 2, you’ll be able to download windows 8 for the discounted price of $15 upgrade offer at www.windowsupgradeoffer.com.
